Robert D. Plowden is the founder and President of Invest for Humanity. Mr. Deshields -Plowden is a champion for education he was name Teacher of the year, District Distinguished Minority Educator of the year, and received Veteran of Foreign Post 8058 Teacher Award during his career in education. Robert formed this organization following a discussion in his civics class where he and students talk about how can we eliminate barriers in our society so everyone can become successful productive citizen in our world today. After this discussion with his students, this influence Robert to immediately formed the 501(c)3 organization in order to help promote, empower and develop our society we must provide resources and create an atmosphere to inspire all ages to excel and reach their highest potential. Robert has received his Bachelor degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Florida A&M University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Deshields-Plowden said “Teaching has opened his eyes and has provided him with a desire to be an educational tour guide promoting self-awareness and to promote self-enrichment. He does believe that every day he should be an example of and always autograph his work with excellence.”
